The Pharmacy Role in Women’s Health

Pharmacists play a meaningful role in the inpatient environment for women's health. Pharmacists can improve quality of life for the women they care for by offering advice, education, and other point-of-care services. Pharmacies are integral in many facets of women’s health and can provide important perspectives and insights on what works and what needs improvement. Pharmacists are often the first and sometimes the only point of interaction when a patient is seeking over-the-counter therapies that are used to treat ailments and conditions.
